The Farm Table ❤️

Nobody needs to sit alone at Porter’s Farm.

The Farm Table is a simple idea with one purpose — bringing people together.

Maybe you live on your own, work from home, have recently moved to the area, are retired, have lost a partner, or simply fancy getting out of the house and meeting some new people. Whatever your reason, you’re welcome at The Farm Table.

Every Tuesday, we’ll have a table in our café set aside for anyone who fancies a little company over a cuppa, breakfast, lunch or a slice of homemade cake.

There’s no membership, no booking and no organised or awkward introductions. Simply come into the café, order whatever you fancy and take a seat at The Farm Table.

You don’t have to consider yourself lonely and there’s no particular age group. The idea is simply to create a place where sitting down with someone you don’t know is completely normal. Have a chat, share a laugh and hopefully leave knowing someone you didn’t know when you arrived.

☕ While sitting at The Farm Table, you’ll also receive FREE refills on hot drinks.

Stay for half an hour or spend a couple of hours with us. Come by yourself, bring a book, have some food or simply enjoy a cuppa and a natter.

We hope The Farm Table becomes a regular Tuesday meeting place where friendships are made and everyone knows there’s always somewhere they can go for a bit of company.
