Police are investigating after a picnic bench was damaged at Nothe Gardens in Weymouth.
The town council says the wooden bench was dismantled and its concrete base disturbed sometime between Saturday evening and Sunday morning.
Dorset Police says no arrests have been made, and officers are appealing for information.
