Health officials say thousands of young people in Dorset have now received antibiotics after meningitis cases in Weymouth. No new cases have been confirmed. Vaccinations will continue this week.
UK Health Security Agency says its response to meningitis cases in Weymouth is continuing.
More than 1,800 pupils at Budmouth Academy and Wey Valley Academy have already received antibiotics.
Around 6,500 young people across Weymouth, Portland and Chickerell are being offered treatment and vaccination as a precaution.
Officials say all three confirmed cases of meningitis B have now been discharged from hospital and there are no further cases at this time.
The rollout is continuing this week, including at All Saints Academy and other local schools.
Young people not in full-time education can also access antibiotics at designated sessions.
Health teams say the high uptake so far is encouraging, but are urging people to remain aware of symptoms.
These can include fever, headache, vomiting and a rash that does not fade when pressed.
Anyone with concerns is advised to seek urgent medical attention.
