New beach lockers are set to be installed on Weymouth seafront. The units will allow visitors to safely store belongings, with hire expected to begin this summer.
New beach lockers are set to be introduced along the seafront in Weymouth.
Weymouth Town Council has approved plans to install the storage units near the Beach Office.
The lockers are designed to give visitors a secure place to store belongings while they enjoy the beach.
If plans progress as expected, the lockers could be available to hire by July.
The council is also set to receive a share of the income generated from the scheme.
