Residents across Dorset are being asked to share their views on proposed fire station changes.

Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service has launched a public consultation seeking feedback on proposals that could affect local fire stations and future service arrangements.

The service says hearing from the community is essential to ensure any decisions reflect the needs of residents and continue to support public safety.

Officials are particularly encouraging younger people to take part, as they are often under represented in consultations about emergency services.

The survey asks people to share their opinions on potential changes and how fire services should operate in the future.

Fire leaders say the responses will help guide decisions about how resources are used and how emergency response services are delivered across the two counties.

The consultation is open until 15 May and residents are being encouraged to take part in the survey and share their views.
