Families are invited to a spring themed event at Tumbledown Community Growspace in Weymouth. The activities will take place during the Easter holidays and include crafts, games and a discovery trail around the site. Tumbledown Community Growspace in Southill will host a family event on 10 April featuring activities with an animal theme, giving visitors the chance to explore the site and take part in crafts, games and seasonal activities.
The event will include games in the orchard, a spring discovery trail around the growspace and hands on sessions designed to encourage families to enjoy the outdoor setting together.
Visitors will also be able to join woodworking workshops and take part in forest school activities as part of the programme organised for the day.
Young visitors interested in cooking will have the opportunity to join cookery sessions in the kitchen, with places available to book on arrival.
Councillor Caroline Nickinson, Mayor of Weymouth, said the growspace is a community asset in Southill and encouraged residents to attend, adding the event will offer a variety of seasonal activities for all ages.
