Police in Weymouth have recovered stolen property from a barn. Officers found items including a generator, a wacker plate and a jet ski. All have now been returned to their owners. Investigations are ongoing.
Officers from Dorset Police have recovered a number of stolen items during an investigation in Weymouth.
The discovery was made after officers were tipped off while investigating the theft of generators from Coombe Valley Road.
A search of a nearby barn led to the recovery of a generator, a wacker plate and a jet ski.
Checks confirmed the wacker plate had been stolen locally earlier that week, while the jet ski had been taken from Portland last year.
All items have now been returned to their rightful owners.
Police believe the barn may have been used as a temporary storage site for stolen goods.
Officers say they will continue efforts to identify those responsible and track any further locations being used.
Enquiries are ongoing.
