Dorset Police says a group was reported at The Marsh playing fields on Saturday night and was issued with a notice to leave.
They had gone by Sunday afternoon.
A separate encampment was later reported at Lodmoor car park.
Police say that group was also issued with a notice and had left by 11.30pm.
