Dorset Police and partners have launched a summer safety campaign to tackle crime, anti-social behaviour and disorder during the county’s busiest season.
Dorset Police and partners are running the Good Safe Summer campaign across the county.
The campaign aims to prevent crime, reduce anti-social behaviour and maintain a visible policing presence in busy towns, beaches and tourist areas.
It includes increased high-visibility patrols involving police officers, PCSOs, Special Constables and community safety partners.
Operation Show has also been launched in Bournemouth, with officers patrolling the beach, pier and promenade during the day and evening.
Operation Nightjar will continue around Bournemouth’s night-time economy, focusing on busy areas near bars and clubs.
In rural areas, Operation Recall is encouraging dog owners to keep pets under control to reduce livestock worrying.
Police and Crime Commissioner David Sidwick said disorder will not be tolerated and urged residents and visitors to act responsibly and look out for one another this summer.
